Kelly Addington Named Chief Development Officer of Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation

Sarasota, Florida - March 27, 2025 – The Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation is pleased to announce that Kelly Addington has been appointed Chief Development Officer. In this role, she will oversee the Foundation’s capital campaign, ensuring the organization fulfills its mission to create and sustain a vibrant performing arts center and advance arts education.

“Kelly’s exceptional experience in fundraising, strategic leadership, and relationship building makes her the perfect addition to our team,” said Tania Castroverde Moskalenko, CEO of the Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation. “Her passion for the arts and commitment to community impact will be invaluable as we embark on this transformative capital campaign. We are delighted to welcome Kelly to the Foundation.”

Addington brings over two decades of experience in philanthropy and mission-driven impact.

Prior to joining the Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation, Addington served as Senior Director of Development for the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Florida. In this capacity, she led major gift fundraising efforts and was part of a team that collectively raised $700MM over six years at the University of South Florida Foundation. Her leadership played a pivotal role in advancing institutional priorities, securing transformational gifts, and fostering a culture of philanthropy that fueled innovation and student success.

Together, we’ll build on Sarasota’s vibrant arts culture, ensuring the performing arts continue to inspire and connect our community for generations to come.”

 The University of West Florida graduate is also a proven entrepreneur and changemaker. She co-founded Let’s Talk Solutions, Inc., an organization dedicated to promoting a culture of consent and reducing sexual violence. Under her leadership, the organization partnered with over 500 universities, engaged senior government officials, and impacted more than 2 million students and campus leaders. Addington, a Florida native, enjoys traveling and spending time in nature with her husband and daughter.
